Dating my daughters teacher
I'm single and I love flirting It's very cliche to say 'be yourself' but really if you can be relaxed and not put on an act (which can be hard to do when you like someone) he'll be able to see your personality and if he likes you, will respond.
I'm not sure what the rules are for parent-teacher relationships.
*hides* Well, I very much doubt he's interested in me..called me in to chat about my son (who has possible special needs) a week after the new term started in Sept, and did that thing of trying to put me at ease by being friendly, jokey, talking about where he lived (said he was from my hometown and said he lived near a certain landmark in that town), thought I sensed a bit of 'chemistry' then but ever since, he's been mostly avoiding eye contact! PS - Are you SURE there's nothing wrong with a parent dating a teacher?
Either avoids eye contact altogether, or sometimes I walk past and as I look at him, he seems to look away. Like, anything I can talk to him about that's not school related? I've never seen/heard of it happening and it IS a Catholic school...
I'm seeing him after class next week to have a chat about my son - I requested it - so id there any chance there for 'being myself'?
i don't really see how you could go about starting something up.
Anyway I'm guessing it's a big fat no-go area, but thought I'd post on here, just in case.
Any teachers around that can shed some light on whether a teacher dating a parent of a child in their class/same school would be allowed or not?
If the President of the USA can have an inappropriate relationship anyone can.
That's why I don't think you should be giving any thought to this at all.
